Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is a 5-Star airport and it is also the major air hub and gateway for Air China, China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines. The airport is located near the town of Hongqiao in Changning District, Shanghai, about 8km from downtown Shanghai. It is the 7th busiest airport in China and it handled 48.5 million passengers in 2012.

Shanghai Hongqiao airport is a major aviation hub in Asia and is a focus city for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Spring Airlines and All Nippon Airways. The airport mainly serves domestic and regional flights, but was also served by international flights.
